PILOT BIO:
Dan Johnson started his flying career crop dusting for 10 years in northern Wisconsin. After that, he flew for 27 years with a major American airline. He took an early retirement so he would have time to pursue his dream of flying in Alaska.
Johnson flew his Cessna 185 on amphib floats cross-country from Chicago to Anchorage and Fairbanks. Falling in love with Alaska, he worked for two seasons in Ketchikan flying tourists and cargo in de Havilland Beavers. Dan Johnson is now offering an introduction to bush flying opportunity to pilot-tourists from his summer base in Ketchikan, Alaska.
